TAMPA, Fla. – (Jan. 13, 2009) – STAR Technology Enterprise Center (http://www.startecflorida.com), a technology and light manufacturing business accelerator, will host an information session for businesses interested in learning how STAR TEC programs can help their companies grow.
The session will be held on Monday, Feb. 9 at 5:30 p.m. at the STAR TEC offices, Young-Rainey STAR Center, 7887 Bryan Dairy Road, Building 100, Second Floor, Largo. There is no charge to attend.
Attendees, whether manufacturing and technology entrepreneurs, inventors or early stage companies, will learn how they can benefit from STAR TEC’s programs that include:
· Affiliate program that offers mentoring, consultation, networking and limited use of professional conference facilities and office space
· TEC Launch, providing market research, business education, technology commercialization, linkages to strategic partners and funding options, federal procurement assistance and help with regulatory compliance
· STAR TEC onsite client services including mentoring, consultation, support services, networking and affordable space
