STAR TEC Accelerator Announces 2008 Entrepreneurship Conference

LARGO, Fla. – (Feb. 27, 2008) – STAR TEC technology and manufacturing accelerator (www.startecflorida.com) will hold its 2008 Entrepreneurship Conference Wednesday and Thursday, March 26 and 27, at the Hilton Carillon Park Hotel in St. Petersburg. 

            The Conference, “Mapping Your Entrepreneurial Success…Knowing Where to Turn,” is expected to attract 150 entrepreneurs, investors and service providers from the state of Florida.  Primary sponsors are Young-Rainey STAR Center and Holland+Knight. 

            The Conference begins with an opening Sponsors’ Reception from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, March 26.  Thursday’s program will begin with registration at 8 a.m. and end at 3:30 p.m.  Barry Alpert, managing director, Investment Banking, Raymond James and Associates, Inc. will present the opening remarks and Geoff Dyer, founder and CEO of Lifestyle Family Fitness, will be the luncheon keynote speaker.  Additional program and speaker details are available at www.startecflorida.com

Program registration is available online.  Registration fees vary by type of registrant,
