STAR TEC Appoints Wendy Plant as Center Manager

LARGO, Fla. – (March 17, 2008) -- STAR Technology Enterprise Center (STAR TEC), a manufacturing and technology business accelerator, has appointed Wendy Plant as center manager, responsible for supporting client success by providing business and technical assistance to clients through the resource network, as well as overseeing special events and programs.

            Plant was previously director of marketing and project management at Creative Recycling Systems and also had more than nine years experience working with education and outreach programs for the Sykes College of Business at The University of Tampa.

She received a Master of Business Administration degree from The University of Tampa and a Certificate in Family Business Advising from the Family Firm Institute.  She teaches the “Managing the Family Business” course at the University and serves as president of the MBA Association.
